How It Is Done

The inspiration for the Kumbh Mela Project began with a classroom discussion about a newspaper article highlighting the event’s scale and significance. The article was divided into ten broad activities, forming the foundation for the project.

Students were divided into ten groups, each responsible for executing a specific task related to event planning and management.

The concept evolved from theoretical discussions into a real-world prototype and was officially announced as an academic exercise for evaluation. A separate student group was assigned the role of press reporters, documenting the project’s progress.

Under the leadership of student Prajwal, who served as the CEO and task group head, the blueprint of the project was displayed, and students were given creative freedom to work on their assigned tasks using materials of their choice.• January 25: Students prepared the Kumbh township for display.
• January 26: The Kumbh city was formally inaugurated following the flag-hoisting ceremony.
• The press reporter group collected data and presented a final report on January 26.
